About Course
This learning programme is intended for all persons currently in a leadership position or aspiring to the field. It provides insights into the role of a leader in the work context, providing them with the skills and knowledge to add value to one’s job.
This programme is run over 4 days and is virtually facilitated on these following dates:
Important to note: The dates may change should there not be a minimum of 5 students registered for this specific date.
This is a SETA Accredited course consisting of 2 Unit Standards:
US 120300: Analyse leadership and related theories in a work context: NQF 5 with 8 credits, which consists of the following modules
- Module 1: Explain the Concept of Leadership
- Module 2: Differentiate between Leadership and Management
- Module 3:Analyse Leadership Theories
- Module 4:Apply the Roles and Qualities of Leadership
US 252026: Apply a systems approach to decision-making: NQF 5 with 6 credits, which consists of the following modules
- Module 1: Apply Critical and Analytical Skills to Analyse a Problem
- Module 2: Engage with Stakeholders in Analysing the Problem and Developing Solutions
- Module 3: Select Feasible Solutions through a Systems Approach
- Module 4: Formulate and Communicate the Decision
To successfully complete the programme, the following requirements must be met and delivered to deadline for each unit standard:
- Submission of your Portfolio of Evidence
- Accurately completed supporting documentation
- Fully completed Learner Workbook
- 100% attendance for all training days
You will be provided with 6 weeks to submit your Portfolio of Evidence once you have completed the 2 days of facilitated training for each unit standard. Your submissions will be assessed and moderated. If you are found competent, you will be issued with a Certificate of Competence and a Statement of Results from the Services Seta.
